Ah, teleseminars. One of my favorite subjects! If you’ve ever heard me talk about it, you know I’m a fan. I talked in detail about why I love teleseminars, and the types of teleseminars on my last Tuesdays with Laurie show.

One of the reasons I love teleseminars (besides the leveraging of time, impacting lots of people, and ease of use) is because of all the things you can do WITH your teleseminar, AFTER your teleseminar!

Here are some ideas:

1. Transcribe your call and turn it into an ebook. Once you have your call transcribed, you can either edit yourself, or send to a copywriter to edit, and then put it on your website as a free download (continue to list-build AFTER your teleseminar call!), OR, you can add to it, beef it up a little (or not), and sell your e-book!

2. Social media-ize your ebook. After you have your ebook done (or you can actually just do this with the transcript), Comb through it, pull out the good bits, and schedule those into your favorite social media updater. We like: Tweetdeck, and Hootesuite for this. If you are creative, you can probably grab enough stuff to preschedule tweets and updates for 4-8 months, depending on the topic.

3. Article Marketing. You (or your favorite copywriter) can comb through the transcript or ebook and turn the copy into articles. Sprinkle a few keywords in there, and post them on your favorite, relevant, article marketing sites. Some of the ones we like are: Ezine Articles, Article Alley, and GoArticles.

4. Blog posts. This is pretty much the same thing as #3, but you can put the articles on your blog. Google likes constant, fresh, updated, keyword-rich content. If you have time, you can do it all at once – create 10-20 articles (whatever you can pull), type them into your blog, and preschedule them to post. (easily done in WordPress – just schedule them for any future date).

5. Everybody loves a bonus! Once you have your ebook created, you can also offer it to others to include in their own products as an add-on, or bonus. It’s good to get your name out there, and people are always looking for good bonus materials to add to their products.

So, there you go. Look at all those things you can do with your teleseminar! (I’m sure there are more.)
