Write these things down: 

  • how to share and un-share your screen (for webinars);
  • how to mute and un-mute the lines (just ’cause your baby isn’t crying, doesn’t mean someone else’s won’t be);
  • how to start and stop the recording;
  • the moderator/speaker pin vs. the participant pin (you can’t control the phone lines using the participant pin).
  • if you are using Instant Teleseminar or GotoWebinar, write down or know how to individually mute participant lines (sometimes you want the lines un-muted, but someone’s line is giving feedback or making the lines echo, and you want to just mute that person).
  • any instructions you want to give your participants (if they are muted, how to “raise their hand”, or how to mute / un-mute themselves.
